Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to help keep store shelves stocked with a variety of food and grocery products. You will move items from pallets to shelves and manage back-room backstock and disposal of cardboard.

Qualifications

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable learning and using basic technology; follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
