Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to join our store team. This entry level role focuses on keeping shelves stocked, ensuring a friendly shopping experience, and supporting daily operations.

You will move products from pallets to shelves, handle backstock, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment. Overnight shifts are part of this role, with opportunities to grow through our development programs.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with focus on stocking and customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move product.
• Comfort with using basic technology for inventory tasks.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
