Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Stocker to join our Grocery team. This role supports the overnight crew by unloading trucks, stocking shelves, tagging products, and keeping backrooms organized for a fresh, ready-to-shop store each morning.

You’ll greet customers and assist them in locating items while working as part of a collaborative team. No prior experience is required; we offer training and welcome motivated individuals who meet the basic requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic math, fractions, decimals, & percentages.
• Clear communication with customers & teammates.
• Stay organized to keep up with pace of overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find items.
• Unload trucks and stock shelves, rotate product for freshness.
• Tag shelves and manage backroom overstock and damaged items.
• Monitor stock, report mis-picks or wrong deliveries to team.
• Assist in other store areas as needed and follow dress code.
