Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Stocker in the Grocery department to keep shelves full, organized, and ready for customers each morning. You'll unload trucks, rotate product, tag shelves, and maintain a clean backroom as part of the overnight crew.

No prior experience is required; we provide training and support. The role involves reliable performance, following instructions, and lifting up to 100 pounds in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Up to six months of similar or related work experience is preferred.
• Willing to train and support you as you grow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need.
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and relaying feedback to the team.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Monitor for mis-picks, product outs, and wrong deliveries, and report issues accordingly.
• Organize stock for greatest efficiency and restock damaged items.
• Tag shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawers.
• Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator for system input.
• Work alongside teammates to ensure a smooth, efficient overnight operation.
