Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is hiring an Overnight Stocker to keep shelves full, organized, and ready for customers each morning. No prior experience required; we provide training and support as you grow in a fast-paced overnight store environment.

You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product, and help customers while staying active and working as part of a team. The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and to work overnight shifts in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; Hy-Vee will train and support you.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and passing feedback to the team
• Unload trucks, open containers, stock shelves, rotate product for freshness
• Monitor mis-picked items, outs, and wrong deliveries; report issues
• Organize stock for efficiency and clean/restock damaged items
• Tag shelves with overstock/backroom items and understock drawers
• Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator for input
• Work with teammates to ensure a smooth overnight operation
• Maintain Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards, and company policies
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed
• Receive direction from Store Director/Store Manager and Overnight Stock Manager
