Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked for customers and to support overnight preparation. You will move products from pallets to shelves, manage backstock, and keep the back room organized.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork, with a focus on accurate placement and timely completion of tasks. The position requires bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and readiness to work late-night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and available 10PM–7AM.
• Experience with pallets or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn processes, follow procedures, and work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of products from pallets or carts.
• Move products to correct shelf locations using location codes.
• Backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated areas.
• Coordinate with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
