Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are replenished with food and grocery items and to move products from pallets to correct locations efficiently.

You will work closely with leadership to complete assigned areas on time, maintain a clean and safe store environment, and provide friendly service to customers as needed. This role supports overnight preparation and broader store operations.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using basic technology and following procedures.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks.
• Strong teamwork and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
