Penn Medicine is seeking an Overnight Sterile Processing Supervisor to oversee decontamination, prep and sterilization activities in support of OR schedules. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily operations, ensure compliance with Infection Control, TJC, DOH and other regulations, and act as liaison with customers for instrument turnaround.

The role emphasizes staff coaching, performance reviews, and maintaining quality metrics while coordinating with the Perioperative Services Division.

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Required)
• HS Diploma/GED (Required)
• Associate of Arts or Science; Bachelor of Arts or Science; Other (Required)
• 0-2 years of Supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Oversight of decontamination, preparation and sterilization of instrument sets.
• Ensure compliance with Infection Control, TJC, DOH, SGNA, federal, state and local regulations.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and education/preceptorship of new staff and students.
• Coordinate with OR schedules and maintain instrument processing quality measures.
