Responsibilities

• Oversee Sterile Processing department 24/7, ensuring safe, sterile instruments and supplies.
• Direct shift leaders, technicians and transporters to meet department goals.
• Communicate routinely with leadership in areas serviced and coordinate OR activity.
• Plan, evaluate and prioritize workflow; assign work and provide instructions per policy and OR activity.
• Assist Manager and department educator in completing special projects and program planning.
• Manage staffing, budget and resources to maintain service levels.
