Strive Pharmacy in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join the overnight team. You will prepare patient-specific sterile medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.

This role requires active PTCB/ExCPT certification with state licensure, sterile compounding experience, and rigorous attention to detail in a fast-paced cleanroom environment, with benefits including healthcare and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active PTCB or ExCPT certification with valid state license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US Pharmacopoeia USP <795>, USP <800>, and FDA cGMP knowledge.
• Strong calculations, medical terminology, aseptic technique, and sterile compounding.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and operate lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulations to accurately and safely compound sterile injectable medications.
• Perform quality checks, prepare samples for testing, and initiate investigations for deviations.
• Collaborate with Pharmacist-in-Charge, facility Pharmacists, and QA to ensure compliance.
• Maintain calibration logs for scales, meters, and other equipment; document procedures.
• Maintain cleanroom cleanliness and proper waste disposal.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages; inspect materials for quality.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and continuing education activities.
