Job summary

Rx relief is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to support a high-volume 503A compounding pharmacy near Plano, TX. The role focuses on prescription verification, sterile and non-sterile oversight, and USP standards compliance.

Responsibilities include overseeing overnight operations, maintaining quality documentation, and collaborating with technicians for accurate order processing and shipping.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required.
• Experience with sterile compounding.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions overnight.
• Knowledge of USP compounding standards and pharmacy software systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify compounded and non-compounded prescriptions for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile lab operations during overnight hours.
• Review compounding records, ensure adherence to aseptic procedures, and maintain quality documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and timely order processing and shipping.
• Maintain compliance with state board, DEA, and USP regulations.
• Communicate any necessary follow-ups or issues to the day team.
