Job summary

PillPack, LLC in Summerville, SC seeks a licensed pharmacist to verify prescriptions, manage patient profiles, and support the pharmacy team to ensure accurate dispensing and compliant operations. You will handle initial prescription processing, transfers, and QA checks, collaborating with staff to address clinical questions while upholding Federal/State regulations.

This role includes 10-hour shifts and opportunities to contribute to patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD Degree.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in SC.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Warehouse work, including the ability to lift 20lbs.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses.
• Collaborate with other staff pharmacist to ensure all produced packet and bulk sets undergo a thorough quality assurance check prior to shift end.
• Collaborate with other staff pharmacist to ensure all production relative to new business lines undergoes a thorough quality assurance check prior to shift end.
• Complete ancillary housekeeping pharmacy tasks including checking returns, inputting medication rejects, overseeing medication substitutions, and canister approval.
• Answer clinical questions, provide clinical guidance.
• Investigate errors and facilitate proper resolution and reporting.
• Collate and deliver pertinent pharmacy information to distribution team.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures, Federal/State laws, rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction.

Role Also Involves

• Management and maintenance of customer profiles in PharmacyOS
• Initial prescription order processing and verification
• Prescription transfer coordination
• New prescription acquisition and processing

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD Degree
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the state in which you are employed (SC), and others upon request. Additional licenses may be required if domicile state differs from state of employment
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, federal and state regulations concerning patient care
• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills including written and verbal communication.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Warehouse work, including the ability to lift 20lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in LTC or Retail Setting
• Excellent Communication skills

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
