Job summary

PillPack, LLC in Missouri is hiring a Pharmacist to oversee dispensing, verification, and end-to-end prescription fulfillment, including packing and shipment.

You will verify medication quality, support a team of pharmacists, and ensure compliance with federal/state laws while delivering excellent customer care and efficient service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, PharmD, or Doctor of Pharmacy.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with Windows-based software (Word, Excel, IE, Firefox).

Responsibilities

  • Verify medication quality assurance for all dispenses.
  • Collaborate with staff pharmacists to ensure quality and production standards.
  • Handle ancillary pharmacy tasks including returns and substitutions.
  • Answer clinical questions and provide guidance to customers.
  • InvestigateErrors and ensure proper resolution and reporting.
  • Transmit pertinent pharmacy information to the distribution team.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and laws.
  • Collaborate to maintain high customer satisfaction.

This role will require hands‑on involvement in the operation, handling tasks ranging from dispensing medications to managing the entire process of prescription fulfillment, ensuring completion from initiation to the final stage. This includes filling, verifying and packing orders for shipment, in addition to pharmacist verifications.

Role Also Involves
  • Management and maintenance of customer profiles in PharmacyOS
  • Initial prescription order processing and verification
  • Prescription transfer coordination
  • New prescription acquisition and processing
  • Focus on system-based verification and documentation
Key job responsibilities
  • Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses.
  • Collaborate with other staff pharmacist to ensure all produced packet and bulk sets undergo a thorough quality
  • Collaborate with other staff pharmacist to ensure all production relative to new business lines undergoes a
  • Complete ancillary housekeeping pharmacy tasks including checking returns, inputting medication rejects, overseeing medication substitutions, and canister approval.
  • Answer clinical questions, provide clinical guidance
  • Investigate errors and facilitate proper resolution and reporting.
  • Collate and deliver pertinent pharmacy information to distribution team.
  • Ensure compliance with all company procedures, Federal/State laws, rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, or Doctor of Pharmacy in PharmD, or Doctor of Pharmacy
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations concerning patient care
  • Knowledge of Knowledge of Windows desktop environment and use of Word, Excel, IE, Firefox etc
  • Can have an active and unrestricted pharmacist license in your state of employment (additional licenses may be required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, or Bachelor's degree in PharmD, or Doctor of Pharmacy
  • Exemplary interpersonal communication skills including written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions.
  • Warehouse work, including the ability to lift 20lbs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in LTC or Retail Setting

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
