Job summary

Mercy Washington in Washington, MO is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for the day shift. The role supports overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, split-night protocols, and MSLT, under supervision of a certified technologist or physician.

You will prepare and calibrate equipment to AASM standards, monitor patients overnight, score studies, and document care in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Prepare and calibrate equipment per AASM standards.
• Monitor patients overnight and respond to events.
• Score studies and generate detailed reports.
• Educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
• Document all care in the EMR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight sleep studies and data collection.
• Calibrate and prepare equipment to AASM standards.
• Monitor patients, respond to clinical events, and ensure safety.
• Score sleep studies and produce reports for physicians.
