Job summary

Truman Medical Centers Sleep Lab at Sheraton Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Registered Sleep Technician for overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You will perform overnight polysomnograms under medical supervision and help guide a busy Sleep Center team.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 2+ years in sleep data collection and CPAP titration, and active BCLS. RPSGT or RRT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in sleep data collection, CPAP titration, scoring, and stage recognition.
• Must hold either a RPSGT Registry or RRT certification.
• Must have a current BCLS certification upon hire and remain active.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnograms and complex sleep procedures under medical supervision.
• Mentor and train new Sleep Center staff and non-certified Sleep Technologists.
• Collaborate with a board-certified Sleep Medicine physician to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Be an integral part of a fast-paced Sleep Center Lab with nightly challenges and growth opportunities.
