Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; degree preferred but not required.
• RPSGT or RST certification required.
• Board eligible graduate of an accredited polysomnography program; must pass board exam within 3 months.
• Current CPR required prior to first day of clinical work.
• Driver designation may be required for frequent driving as defined by policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnograms overnight.
• Administer oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and ventilatory assist devices per protocol.
• Recognize at-risk events and notify appropriate physicians.
