Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Registered Polysomnographer (RPSGT) for PRN night shifts to support our Sleep Center. You will perform diagnostic sleep studies, titrations, and home sleep tests, collaborating with physicians, patients, and families to promote optimal sleep health.

Requires RPSGT certification, BLS instructor certification or equivalent, and a minimum of two years in an accredited sleep center.

Qualifications

• Requires RPSGT certification and/or credentialing for polysomnography.
• Minimum two years of experience in an accredited sleep center.
• BLS Instructor certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic sleep studies, titration, and home sleep testing.
• Operates polysomnography equipment with high technical proficiency.
• collaborates with sleep providers, patients and families to improve sleep health.
• Maintains accurate documentation and follows department procedures.
• Ensures patient safety and quality assurance in testing and care.
