Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville seeks a Sleep Technologist to perform polysomnograms overnight. You will administer oxygen, nasal CPAP, and ventilatory assist devices according to established protocols.

The role requires RPSGT or RST certification, CPR, and a high school diploma; board eligibility may be considered. You will monitor patients, recognize at-risk events, and notify physicians as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; degree preferred but not required.
• RPSGT or RST certification required.
• Board eligible graduate of an accredited polysomnography program; must pass board exam within 3 months.
• Current CPR required prior to first day of clinical work.
• Driver designation may be required for frequent driving as defined by policy.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:High School graduate or equivalent. Degree is preferred but not required.Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification (RPSGT) from the BRPT or the AASMs Registered Sleep Technologist certification (RST) is required.Will consider board eligible graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program.
