Job summary

Atrium Health's Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital seeks a PRN Sleep Technologist to support the Sleep Disorders Center. This role performs quality sleep procedures, educates patients, and ensures safe, accurate data management in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, health field degree preferred, and experience in a sleep center or healthcare; RPSGT/Polysomnography certification is required or pursued, with CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health field preferred.
• Two years' experience in a sleep center or other healthcare setting and completion of an AASM A-Step program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or assists in performing quality procedures in field of Sleep Disorders Medicine.
• Educates patients and their significant others to ensure understanding.
• Obtains data management and documentation and utilizes hospital resources appropriately.
• Maintains cooperative working relationship with other departments and medical staff.
• Provides age-appropriate patient care and adheres to safety guidelines.
