Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Sleep Tech to perform overnight sleep studies and assist in evaluation and treatment of sleep patients. The role involves preparation, setup, patient education, and coordination with physicians in accordance with AASM guidelines.

The position requires sleep study proficiency, electrode application, PAP fitting, and adherence to safety and infection control standards. A RPSGT track with CEU requirements is expected within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• RPSGT certification within 24 months after hire.
• Must complete 10 continuing education requirements per year and participate in inter-scorer reliability.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up sleep studies according to protocol.
• Verify patient identity and obtain consent; orient to in-center or out-of-center testing.
• Calibrate equipment and apply electrodes per published standards.
• Perform PAP interface fitting and desensitization.
• Review signals, identify artifacts, and generate accurate reports.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and HIPAA compliance.
