Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Somers, NY seeks a Sleep DSP to support residents with daily activities and overnight care. The role includes sleeping overnight (about seven hours) and assisting during awake hours to promote safety, health and personal goal achievement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• One year experience preferred.
• Valid NY Driver's License required.

• Strong passion for helping children and adults with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in daily activities during awake hours and support safety and therapeutic environments.
• Sleep overnight at assigned location with ~7 hours of sleep while being responsive to residents' needs.
• Provide health and personal management support and help residents achieve personal goals.
