Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in New York is seeking Sleep DSPs to work overnight at the Tivoli facility. Sleep DSPs stay in overnight shifts, assisting residents with daily living activities and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment while remaining responsive.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• One year of experience is preferred.
• Valid New York Driver’s License is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Sleep overnight at the assigned location, remaining vigilant to respond to residents’ needs during awake hours.
• Assist individuals with daily activities, health and personal management, and goal-setting.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that addresses physical, emotional and personal needs.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and improve functioning.
