State of Connecticut is seeking a Behavioral Health Unit Supervisor to lead a 22-bed male-only acute psychiatric unit within the Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown. You will supervise a multi-shift team, coordinate care, and drive program development in a recovery-focused environment.

The role requires licensure in clinical social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, substance use counseling, or nursing, with experience in supervisory settings and a commitment to high-quality

Qualificações

• Seven years of professional health care experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Two years in a lead or supervisory role coordinating a unit or team.
• Current license as a clinical social worker, professional counselor, marital and family therapist, licensed alcohol and drug counselor, or RN.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and supervise a multi-shift clinical unit (Battell 4 North, 22 beds).
• Oversee cross-shift communication and unit functioning.
• Coordinate patient care, treatment planning, and clinical interventions.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings, reviews, and program evaluations.
• Develop unit procedures, staff training, and performance expectations.
• Liaise with division leadership to support program needs and operations.
