Job summary

As an on-call overnight team member, you will document incidents, coordinates with staff, and uphold confidentiality and safety standards while providing peer support and mentorship to residents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight coverage and supervision of shelter operations to maintain a safe, calm environment.
• Supervise evening/overnight activities and enforce shelter rules in a respectful manner.
• Conduct regular room and wellness checks; respond to medical, mental health, and emergencies; contact emergency services when needed.
• Remain on-call for after-hours emergencies and use trauma-informed crisis intervention techniques.
• Coordinate with hotel staff for overnight building or facility-related concerns.
• Provide peer support, mentorship, and guidance to residents.
• Model positive coping skills and respectful interactions.
• Communicate with daytime staff about overnight activities and incidents.
• Maintain accurate records and incident reports; uphold confidentiality and safety policies.
