Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of lab work experience preferred; ability to lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Sort incoming samples.
• Prepare a sequencing template, including preparation, amplification, and PCR purification.
• Assist in purifying sequencing templates and load samples onto sequencing machines.
• Perform quality processing with little errors; may work with automation platforms.
• Communicate with customers by email and phone in a friendly, professional manner.
• Communicate with internal team via email and phone.
• Prepare saves for prep samples to ship; may require overtime or weekends; alternative shifts possible.
