Job summary

Team San Jose is seeking an Overnight Security Supervisor to oversee the security operations of SJCC, venues, and parking facilities during the overnight shift. The role reports to the Director of Safety and Security and includes supervising officers, enforcing SOPs, and ensuring timely incident communication.

The ideal candidate will hold a Security Guard Card and have minimum two years in a security leadership role, with strong customer service and calmness under pressure in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Oversee overnight security operations and personnel.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are reviewed and followed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity log and incident reporting.
• Manage attendance and punctuality of security staff.
• Provide customer service with professionalism and composure.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with external responders when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise overnight security officers.
• Ensure SOPs are reviewed and followed regularly.
• Maintain daily activity log and monitor attendance.
• Coordinate with emergency services and report incidents.
• Relate information to DOSSP and authorities in real time.
• Conduct monthly life safety audits and fleet checks.
