Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to lead security officers and ensure client post orders are followed on the third shift (Mon-Fri). The role requires at least 2 years of related security management experience and a high school diploma or GED.

You will coach staff, coordinate scheduling, complete reports, and liaise with client representatives to maintain safety and service quality at multiple client sites. A valid driver certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience
• Retail experience preferred
• Possession of applicable state security licenses may be required

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers and staff at client sites to ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Coach and discipline personnel; document performance actions and seek guidance as needed.
• Train Officers on post orders and assignments; review tasks with subordinates.
• Assist in payroll and personnel data submission as designated by management.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions in coordination with management.
• Prepare and file required reports; inspect posts and brief subordinates on tasks and responsibilities.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and deliver quality service.
• Perform supervisory duties such as interviewing, orienting, training, planning, directing work, and hiring recommendations as assigned.
• May perform Security Officer duties in line with post orders and policy
