Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer for the Overnight Shift Patrol in Cumberland, MD. This part-time role offers an overnight schedule with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour.

You will provide customer service, monitor sites, respond to incidents, and perform regular patrols while upholding site policies and procedures. A high school diploma and background check are required; a valid driver’s license may be needed for driving

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen to be conducted as a condition of employment; licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition reports, and critical situations following site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor/contractor authorization, report suspicious activity or policy violations.
