Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service in Castle Hayne, NC. You will provide safety and customer service to students, staff, and visitors while performing patrols and responding to incidents.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and personal integrity in a dynamic educational environment. The position is full-time with a pay rate of 15.00 USD per hour, offering opportunities for growth, training, and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and campus policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting violations or concerns through proper channels.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and necessary documentation per guidelines.
