Job summary

Landmark Hotel Group is seeking an Overnight Security Officer (Monday-Friday) for the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront in Suffolk, VA. The role focuses on patrolling the property, reporting incidents, and ensuring safety for guests and associates.

You will need strong English communication, experience in fast-paced environments, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel property, including outdoor lots, identifying and reporting unusual or safety concerns and escorting off property when needed
• Document concise security reports in a daily log, including thefts, accidents and safety violations
• Complete security forms to document losses or injuries to guests or staff
• Maintain familiarity with disaster and emergency policies; respond to alarms, notify authorities and perform first aid/CPR as needed

Overnight Security Officer (Monday-Friday), HILTON GARDEN INN SUFFOLK RIVERFRONT

Location: Hilton Garden Inn & Convention Center

Core Responsibilities:

• Patrol all areas of the hotel property including outside parking lots. Note, search for, handle and report an unusual circumstances, safety violations, car theft, destruction and/or suspicious or undesirable persons and escort off property, if necessary.
• Document a concise security report on a daily log including incidents of theft, accidents and safety violations.
• Complete the necessary security forms to document losses of property or personal injury to guest or employee.
• Maintain familiarity of all hotel disaster and emergency policies, procedures and regulations; respond immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determine course of action, notify appropriate authorities and perform first aid and CPR as needed.

Qualifications:

• Most possess a good command of the English language and the ability to communicate clearly
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Commensurate or transfer skill set is primary importance
• Good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
