Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License
• 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Certificate
• 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Certificate
• Prior security experience in residential or corporate settings preferred
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors
• Monitor building access points and awareness of building activity
• Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems
• Respond to emergencies and security concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports
• Assist with package handling and vendor deliveries when required
• Maintain control of building and concierge keys
• Identify and report suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Coordinate with building management to support daily operations
• Enforce building policies with calm professionalism
• Communicate clearly during shift transitions for operational continuity
