Job summary

The position requires a security license or the ability to obtain one, a high school diploma or GED, reliable transport, and strong communication skills. Overnight shifts 12am–8am are noted with an hourly pay rate of USD 18.00.

Qualifications

• State or municipality security officer license required.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent minimum.
• License or ability to obtain security guard license within a reasonable period.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Strong interpersonal communication and neat appearance.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, or customer service helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor aiding customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence in the facility.
• Monitor environment and detect suspicious or unsafe activity.
• Greet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, guests professionally.
• Answer phones professionally and document incidents.
• Perform patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Observe and prevent theft and unauthorized removal.
• Follow emergency action procedures and monitor alarms.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
