Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License required.
• 8-hour pre-assignment and 16-hour OJT certificates required.
• Prior experience in residential, corporate, concierge, or customer-facing security preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors.
• Monitor access points and building activity.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and security concerns.
• Maintain shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports.
• Assist with packages and vendor deliveries when required.
• Maintain control and documentation of building and concierge keys.
• Identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations.
• Coordinate with building management and staff to support daily operations.
• Enforce building policies while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions and operational continuity.
