Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an engaged Security Officer for overnight shifts at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke. The role focuses on guest and staff safety, incident response, and proactive security measures across the property.

You will work with the Safety and Security team to maintain a secure environment while delivering professional service. The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to handle stressful situations with calmness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to resolve guest complaints calmly.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Willingness to work varied shifts.
• Prior security, safety, loss prevention, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
• Respond promptly to safety and security concerns.
• Create detailed, accurate incident reports.
• Inspect safety equipment and entry points; monitor surveillance.
• Assist in safety drills and routine safety checks.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor at all times.
• Support department heads and other teams as needed.
• Address conflicts with professionalism and empathy.
