Hyatt Regency Columbus is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to safeguard guests and colleagues while delivering first‑class service during the night shift. Typical hours are 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM with weekend coverage; second shift coverage may be required on occasion.

You will patrol, respond to emergencies, coordinate with hotel departments, and help with front desk or housekeeping tasks as needed. A background in security in upscale environments and strong guest service orientation are

• Security experience in an upscale environment is preferred.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team oriented environment.
• Capable of standing for long periods of time and constantly walking for patrols.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Unafraid of customer service related tasks and responsibilities.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and third shift, ability to cover second shift occasionally is a plus.

This role pays $19.50/hr

The typical schedule for this role will be 11pm to 7:30am, expect to work most weekends)

Some 2nd shift coverage as business needs demand may be required (3pm to 11:30pm)

What does the ROLE entail?
