Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for overnight shifts in Gilbert, AZ. The role supports a high-security aerospace/defense site, delivering professional customer service while enforcing site policies and responding to incidents.

Requirements include at least 2 years in security, active DoD Secret Clearance, and a high school diploma. CPR/First Aid desired; 18+ (or 21+ for armed roles). A background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Background checks will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Allied Universal will review criminal histories per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorization for entry, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
