Allied Universal in Gilbert, AZ is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for the overnight shift, with an active DoD Secret Clearance. The role pays $24.38 per hour and operates on a Wed and Thur overnight schedule, at an aerospace/defense location.

You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and complete daily activity reports while delivering professional customer service and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid training preferred; may be completed post hire.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, document activities using computer or tablet systems, and deliver professional customer service. Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have CPR and First Aid training, preferred; this may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
