Responsibilities

• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for entry, reporting unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation with professional communication to leadership and site personnel.

As a Security Officer - Overnights - Secret Clearancein Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring, people-first culture by working collaboratively, acting with integrity, and supporting a reliable, innovative operation.

Pay Rate: $24.38 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorization for entry, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
