Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites Tempe is seeking a part-time Security Officer to ensure guest and team member safety and secure the hotel property. The role involves patrolling the interior and exterior areas, responding to emergencies, initiating investigations, and maintaining thorough incident reports.

Other duties include assisting guests with inquiries in a friendly manner and operating shuttle services as needed, with an MVR check during the hire process.

Qualifications

• Respond to emergencies including safety hazards, fires, medical incidents, and threats to life/property.
• Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed.
• Write accurate reports and maintain documentation.

Description

A Security Officer (Part Time) is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

• Patrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions
• Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property
• Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed
• Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner ·
• Operate shuttle as necessary. Must pass MVR during hire process.
