Job summary

O’Hern Hospitality Management, LLC operates the Cambria Hotel Omaha Downtown and is seeking an Overnight Security / Shuttle Driver to join the team. The role supports guest safety, security operations, and guest transportation needs during overnight shifts.

The position emphasizes punctuality, uniform presentation, and adherence to hotel policies, with a focus on guest service and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team coordination skills required or preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly.
• Strong customer service and guest interaction skills.
• Comfortable using standard computer software (Word/Excel).
• Ability to follow policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public areas to detect unsafe conditions or inoperative safety equipment.
• Investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, and other incidents.
• Warn or remove individuals violating laws.
• Assist accident victims and file reports as needed.
• Notify staff of suspicious persons and take appropriate action.
• Assist management and law enforcement in emergencies.
• Escort guests to rooms and assist with luggage.
• Maintain courtesy van including cleaning and fueling.
• Keep lobby and front entrance area clean and safe.
• Deliver messages and provide information about services and local attractions.
