Job summary

Cambria Hotel Omaha Downtown in Omaha, NE is seeking a Houseperson/Shuttle Driver for both full-time and part-time roles. Responsibilities include housekeeping duties, moving furniture, delivering items to guest rooms, and operating the shuttle as needed.

Requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED. Shifts commonly run 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday, with nights, weekends, and holidays possible.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Moves and arranges furniture.
• Turns mattresses as required.
• Hangs draperies as required.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork and furniture.
• Collect and replace soiled linens for laundering per OHM/brand standards.
• Receives and stores linen supplies.
• Cleans bathrooms and replenishes supplies.
• Refurnishes room with towels and supplies as required.
• Restocks cleaning cart with supplies for shift.
• May deliver baby cribs and roll-away beds to guest rooms.
• May remove debris, clean driveways and garage areas.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and locker rooms.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets and draperies with vacuum.
• Washes walls, ceilings and woodwork; washes windows and door panels.
• Empties and transports trash in accordance with OHM standards.
• Replaces light bulbs; follows MSDS guidelines when using chemicals.
• Reports to work on schedule, in uniform per policy.
• Knows and complies with all company policies.
