Job summary

A growing hospitality company located in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a Houseperson/Shuttle Driver to join their team. This role involves a variety of housekeeping and guest service responsibilities, including maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and driving the shuttle. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and communication skills, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work flexible hours. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
• Current Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Moves and arranges furniture.
• Cleans bathrooms and replenishes with supplies.
• Empties and transports trash and waste.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Performs additional duties including driving the shuttle.
• Collect and replace soiled linens for laundering.
• Receives and stores linen supplies.
• Cleans bathrooms and replenishes supplies.
• Refurnishes room with supplies, towels etc.
• Restock cleaning cart with supplies for shift.
• May deliver baby cribs and roll-away beds to guest rooms.
• May remove debris and clean driveways and garage areas.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and locker rooms.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
• Washes walls, ceiling and woodwork; washes windows.

Responsibilities

• Moves and arranges furniture.
• Turns mattresses as required.
• Hangs draperies as required.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork and furniture.
• Collect and replace soiled linens for laundering in accordance with OHM and brand standards.
• Receives and stores linen supplies in linen closet.
• Cleans bathrooms and replenishes with supplies.
• Refurnishes room with supplies, towels etc. as required.
• Restock cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for shift.
• May deliver baby cribs and roll‑away beds to guest rooms.
• May remove debris, clean driveways and garage areas.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors, using brooms and mops and powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
• Washes walls, ceiling and woodwork•Washes windows, door panels and sills.
• Empties and transports trash and waste to disposal or recycling areas in accordance with OHM standards.
• Replaces light bulbs•Abides by the regulations of the material safety data sheet when using chemicals.
• Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
• Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
• Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.

• Performs other related duties as required including driving the shuttle.

Hours

• Scheduling may vary due to the nature of the business, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• 3pm-11pm - Full Time & Part Time positions available.

Physical Requirements

• Heavy work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally; up to 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently; and 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Requires significant walking or standing.

Environmental Conditions

• Primarily indoors with protection from weather conditions, but potential exposure to temperature changes.
