Job summary

Detroit Athletic Club is seeking a dedicated security professional to represent the security department and support all club operations for safety, security, and guest service matters. Responsibilities include patrolling the Club facilities and grounds, enforcing policies, and ensuring the safety of members, guests, and staff.

The role involves responding to emergencies, managing access control, and documenting incidents for accountability.

Qualifications

• Detail orientation required to maintain accurate incident logs and follow club policies.
• Excellent vision and physical ability to perform lifting, bending, squatting, walking, running, and standing indoors or outdoors.
• Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience.
• Certifications in AED, CPR and First Aid must be acquired and maintained.
• Must be flexible to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and document all incidents including loss, injury, theft, etc.
• Secure and retrieve overnight valet keys and vehicles.
• Assist Night Management with all club emergency and security measures.
• Inspect parcels, handbags, boxes or other containers carried by employees entering or leaving the Club.
• Enforce all Club rules and regulations governing employees.
• Respond to emergency and fire alarms.
• Administer CPR, AED and first aid if necessary.
• Patrol parking lots and the parking structure; prevent unauthorized vehicles and people.
• Only leaves post when a replacement is present or during emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate log of all security staff activities.
• Monitor security cameras and document suspicious activity.
• Operate and enforce weekend/After Hours member sign-in program.
• Assist the Director of Security with security and safety program implementation.
• Oversee contract guard services for special events.
• Other duties as directed by supervision.

Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain and Document All Incidents including but not limited to: Loss, Injury, Theft etc.
• Secure and retrieve overnight valet keys and vehicles.
• Assist the Night Management with All Club Emergency and Security Measures.
• Inspect all parcels, handbags, boxes or other containers carried by employees entering and leaving the Club.

• Administer C.P.R., AED and first aid if necessary.
• Patrol parking lots and parking structure; prevents unauthorized vehicles and people from using these areas
• Only leaves post when a replacement is present or during emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate log of all security staff activities

Qualifications

• Must be detail orientated.
• Must have good vision and be able to use extremities to: Lift, Bend, Squat, Walk, Run, Stand In- Doors or Out-Doors.
• Must have a Minimum 2 Years of Security or Law Enforcement Experience.
• Must acquire and maintain certifications – AED CPR and First Aid.
• Must be flexible to work any shift.
