Job summary

Detroit Body Guards Protection Unit, LLC is seeking Security Officers to safeguard client property and personnel while following site policies and delivering strong customer service.

You will patrol, identify safety issues, enforce rules, screen for weapons, monitor entry points, and respond to emergencies. Flexibility for part-time schedules is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check.
• Must be able to obtain CCW/CPL in Michigan and possess or obtain a Purchase Permit/Open Carry.
• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic.
• Excellent situational awareness and judgment.

Detroit Body Guards Protection Unit, LLC is seeking the position of Security Officers. Our Security Officers embrace our company's core values.

As a Professional Security Officer for Detroit Bodyguards Protection Unit, LLC you will be Responsible for the Safety and Security of our Client’s property and personnel. You be will also be responsible to familiarize yourself with all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patrol the premises
• Report safety issues, such as fire hazards, vandalism and suspicious or criminal activity
• Warn patrons of possible rule-breaking, and eject those who violate rules or cause disturbances
• Use detection devices to screen individuals for weapons or ensure only authorized employees enter restricted areas
• Keep an eye on the entrance and exit to prevent theft and ensure workplace security
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass background check
• Must have or be able to obtain a CCW/CPL with-in the state of Michigan
• Purchase Permit/Open Carry
• Emotional intelligence and good character judgment

Education:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Detroit Body Guards Protection Unit, LLC is looking for full time and part time Armed Security Officers to work at various locations.
• Applicants may be assigned to a single or multiple sites and need to be flexible with their schedule.
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays if needed.
• All applicants must have reliable means of transportation (private or public), willing to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and professional demeanor at all times.
• Must be hard working, self-motivated, punctual, and exercise good judgment.
• Applicants will be provided uniforms and must have all the documents and proper carry permits to work in their assigned location.
• Have the ability to complete all necessary reports utilizing computer and/or smartphone technology.
• All applicants have to pass a criminal background check, and be eligible to work in the U.S.
