Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver - Overnights in Waterloo, IA. You will provide security services at a manufacturing/industrial site, performing vehicle and foot patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliable communication, and strong customer service. Schedule includes overnight shifts with specific hours; background checks and drug screening are required by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be at least 19 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• Background check and drug test as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and parking areas.
• Monitor access and verify authorized entry, reporting unusual activity to site contacts.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs.
