Job summary

Outbound Sedona is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Security team member to ensure guest safety and property security during overnight hours. Responsibilities include patrols, responding to alarms and guest requests, and reporting safety concerns.

The role requires independent work, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while delivering a welcoming environment for guests and team members. Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; security/hospitality experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean record; ability to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols throughout the property to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and hotel assets.
• Serve as the primary overnight responder for alarms, guest assistance requests, medical situations, and other emergencies.
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and incidents.
• Investigate security and safety-related incidents and prepare clear, accurate, and objective reports documenting findings and actions taken.
• Identify and address immediate safety concerns, respond promptly to incidents, and provide emergency assistance when necessary.
• Keep detailed logs, activity notes, and shift reports to ensure accurate recordkeeping and effective communication between shifts.
• Communicate important updates, incidents, and follow-up items to the incoming shift to support seamless operations.
• Assist guests as needed while promoting a welcoming and secure atmosphere throughout the property.
• Perform other duties and special assignments as requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a combination of education, training, and relevant experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties of the position will also be considered.
• Previous security, hospitality, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass applicable background screening requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in emergency situations.
• Excellent observation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
