Job summary

Outbound Sedona is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Security team member to help ensure the safety, security, and comfort of guests, team members, and the property during overnight hours. You will patrol the property, respond to alarms and guest requests, monitor the premises, and report safety concerns.

This position requires a high school diploma, the ability to work independently overnight, good English communication, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous security, hospitality, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass applicable background screening requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in emergency situations.
• Excellent observation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining a high level of accountability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols throughout the property to help maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and hotel assets.
• Serve as the primary overnight responder for alarms, guest assistance requests, medical situations, and other emergencies.
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and incidents.
• Investigate security and safety-related incidents and prepare clear, accurate, and objective reports documenting findings and actions taken.
• Identify and address immediate safety concerns, respond promptly to incidents, and provide emergency assistance when necessary.
• Keep detailed logs, activity notes, and shift reports to ensure accurate recordkeeping and effective communication between shifts.
• Communicate important updates, incidents, and follow-up items to the incoming shift to support seamless operations.
• Assist guests as needed while promoting a welcoming and secure atmosphere throughout the property.
• Perform other duties and special assignments as requested.

We are looking for a dependable, professional individual who enjoys working independently and is committed to providing a welcoming and secure environment for everyone on property.

Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM.
