Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is hiring for a full-time Security role in Butte, MT. The position covers overnight shifts: Sun - Wed, 6PM - 6AM, with rotating overtime every other Wed. Wage is $22.00 per hour, with a strong focus on safety, access control, and patrolling client sites.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting hazards, and providing excellent customer service to employees and visitors, using assigned technology devices, and completing rounds and post orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills required.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/ effective judgment.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.

Our Security helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
