Securitas US Business Unit in Sheridan, WY is hiring a Security Officer - Full Time to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients. You will monitor premises, control access, and patrol multiple sites while upholding company standards and client directives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently and remain calm under stress.
• Above-average computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients.
• Monitor premises including access control and patrolling.
• Enforce regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Access control duties.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Sheridan, WY

Wage: $20.00/HR

Overnights: Sun - Tues: 6PM - 6AM (every other Wed 6PM - 6AM)

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.


• High School Diploma or GED required.


• Above average computer / technology skills needed.


• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.


• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.


• Must be able to work independently.


• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.


• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.


• Must have a professional demeanor.


• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
