Job summary

Mykelly is seeking a Sanitation Technician in Bartlett, IL to maintain a clean and compliant food production facility. You will clean and sanitize equipment, floors, and work areas while following USDA/FDA standards and company procedures.

The role requires overnight shifts (3rd shift), willingness to work weekends and overtime, and the ability to operate sanitation equipment and handle chemicals safely. Training is provided, and the environment can be hot, wet, and loud.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas and production equipment.
• Dismantle and reassemble machinery for thorough cleaning.
• Safely handle chemicals and operate sanitation equipment.
• Inspect equipment and work areas before pre-operational inspections.
• Follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and HAZCOM.
• Complete tasks efficiently and communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
